ADAM B.Before vision therapy I was having problems with righting with ease and moving my head when I read. When I got to see 3 coins it was a little hard at the start but once I got used to it, it was easy. Now righting with ease is easier now, and I don’t turn my head when I’m reading.

Before Vision Therapy our daughter was having problems with headaches, blurry vision, and she was a little behind in her reading skill. She is an enthusiastic learner but nearly daily headaches were taking the joy out of her school experience. By the end of therapy, her reading level had jumped almost 3 grade levels and her number of headaches decrease significantly. We are so pleased with the results. More than anything, we appreciate the caring and nurturing environment Dr. Taddese, Dawn, and staff have created, and, we are very grateful for all they have done for our daughter.

JESSICABefore vision therapy I struggled a lot with school and with sports. I had a hard time reading papers and the board. During softball I couldn't ever see the ball. After a few months I had a better reading ability. I went up much higher in the batting lineup. I have a much higher batting average and better grades after completing vision therapy.

This made it hard to be focused during school since you read so much. Those problems are now solved and I actually got a 32 on reading comprehension part of the ACT which is pretty good especially compared to other cumulative testing before vision therapy.

Before vision therapy Sophia was having problems with fluidity of reading. She reads in a very choppy manner and would also have difficult time with comprehension. She would often have to read a passage over multiple times to gain understanding. Sophia now reads very fluid; pronounces words correctly and understands the meaning more quickly. Sophia scored a 32 on the reading section of the ACT!!

Before vision therapy Jon Anthony was having problems with reading, copying from board writing words correctly and writing up hill. Jack's writing looked like a foreign language He also experienced motion sickness. Vision therapy changed everything for my son. His reading improved 2.5 grade levels. He was a little behind in reading. Now, he is ahead! Wow!! My son actually enjoys reading now because the words do not run off the page anymore. He has read over 25 books!!! Before vision therapy Katie was having problems with school work, especially spelling, reading, and writing anything including math. It was all very overwhelming to her. She would cry a lot and it would take her over an hour to so her math work when she has to write herself. When I would write what she dictated to me it took a normal amount of time and few tears were shed. Now she is reading much better, writing for fun and writing her own math with more confidence and in a timely manner. She used to get car sick a lot and rarely does anymore! 2019-01-14
